My work is deeply rooted in my personal social context, I was born and raised in specific time in Georgia, that really impacted of my experience of life (one of the reason I chose my artistic name LEVI DENI is an outcome of this). My inspiration comes from my per- sonal stories, emotions, and history. The search for space and voices of womenhood, as well as the vulnerability and complexity of personal narratives, has become a prominent topic of my work.
By painting on a raw canvas, I create a feeling of fluidity and a vulnurable space for my ideas to grow from raw emotions. My practice usually unfolds in a series.
